Hendon Chess Club is extremely saddened to learn of the passing of GM Jonathan Hawkins, who played over thirty times for the Club between 2012 and 2020. During this time, he won the British Championship title, once jointly in 2014, and once outright in 2015.
Our condolences go to Jonathan’s family and friends at this desperately sad time.
