Hendon Barnet Knights start their season

Our junior team Hendon Barnet Knights started their season on Tuesday night. They put up a great fight against Willesden & Brent 1st team despite being outgraded on all boards, but eventually lost 2½-5½.
Well done to the whole team on a very hard-fought match against tough opposition, and special mention to chess mum Oxana Karas for filling in at the last minute due to a no-show from our original board 8.
