On Thursday the 11th of February we’re holding the Second Hendon Chess Club Open Rapid Chess Tournament. Please tell your friends about this event!
This is the second in our series of events, which are open to all. We hope that they will provide you with some entertainment on those club evenings when we don’t have a match or a blitz tournament.
This time it’s just one evening. The tournament will be a total of 4 rounds of 15 minutes per player per game. We will be using Swiss pairings, and a computer.
7.30pm start, finish before 10pm. Our schedule will be fast and furious;
Or faster if each round finishes quicker than planned. All games will be graded by the English Chess Federation.
Entry fee is free to paid up Hendon Members, and £10 for non-members. If there are any prizes, they will be modest.
