Hendon players take on Europe

Friday 4 September, 2009

Father and son Andrew and Frank Sabin journey to Anderlecht in Belgium next weekend to play in the Jose Tonoli Memorial.

For those of you who haven’t heard of it, this is an 11 round, 15 minute tournament with 2,500 euros in prizes that attracts lots of strong players – great fun and very hard work! The wonderful organisers supply the players with lots of coffee and food throughout.

In the past Adam Joelson, Adam Raoof and Malcolm Gesthuysen have all played in the event and had a great time.

Good luck Frank (and possibly Andrew)!
