Recent Hendon successes in the UKCC

We are proud to report that yesterday, Hendon member Peter Hazell won the U14 section in the Scottish Gigafinal of the Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge!

This was a rapid event with a time limit of 15+10. Peter scored 6/7 and then won a blitz playoff. Full results from the event may be found here.

Many congratulations to Peter for this fantastic achievement: we wish him the best of luck in the Terafinal in October!

There was also good news in the London Megafinal last week, where Hendon member Callum Hill won the U14-18 category with 6/6 (full results). We wish him the best in the Southern Gigafinal on 18th July!
