The final matches of our Middlesex League season were played this week.

On Monday, Hendon 1 were in action at Kings Head; unfortunately, as so often away from home this season, we were heavily out-rated and lost 5–1, though James Robinson and Armaan Nilim achieved very creditable draws against FM opposition.

On Thursday, Hendon 3 played away from home against Harrow Juniors 2, achieving a 3–3 tie, including wins for Gautam Sriram and Djad Ben-Eshak.

Match scorecards may be found below. Many thanks to all who played!

Though Hendon teams now have no more Middlesex League matches this season, there are a number of matches involving other clubs still unplayed at the time of writing, which may affect the final results.

This is especially the case in Division 1, where the title may not be decided until 2nd July, when Hackney play Kings Head 1. If Hackney can avoid defeat in that match, they will be champions. It’s possible they will clinch the title earlier, if Muswell Hill 1 fail to win their own match against Kings Head on 30th June.

A full report on the season will follow in due course.
