The third round of our first ever online Club Championship took place on Tornelo tonight!
The first three games were over in a flash, lasting just 22 or 23 moves, with Robert Kender beating David Amior with the Black pieces to keep the sole lead, Andrew Medworth beating Eric Eedle to go clear second, and Nick Murphy beating Dev Ranka.
The only game to go the full distance was Gul Kapur against Stanley Jacobs, with Gul eventually prevailing in a rook ending.
Unfortunately, Eugenia Karas and Chris Rogal have had to withdraw from the tournament.
Well done to all the players, and thank you once again to Adam Raoof for organising!
Round 4 will take place next Thursday, 22nd October, on Tornelo.
