Lions fight off Tigers challenge

Last Thursday the first start-of-season Lions v Tigers clash took place. The match was full of interesting chess and hard-fought, with 7 of the games going into the last 30 minutes. However, the Lions eventually prevailed on most of the boards, resulting in a 7-1 scoreline.
Many thanks to everyone who took part, and special mention to new joiners Ayelén, David A. and David Lewis, plus those that made themselves available at short notice due to some unexpected cancellations: Jean-Claude, David Lewis (again), Niall, Kamlesh & Andrew!
