A band of intrepid Lions made their way to Ealing’s sports club venue for their final match of the season.

With a large number of our players again away or unavailable, my evening was punctuated with Ealing club members scurrying up to me and saying “Wow, your team is really weak!” Of course that wasn’t the case at all, as we are a club with great strength in depth, and it was very pleasing to come home with a big victory after a number of high quality wins from our team!

This result means the Lions end their season as Middlesex League champions on 11/12 (W11 D0 L1), extending their record string of victories to win their SEVENTH successive title!

Many thanks to all the fantastic players – regular or occasional – who turned out for the Lions this season. You are all much appreciated.
