Lions retain Middlesex League title!

Full details of the Lions’ emphatic victory on Thursday night, which clinched the Middlesex League title for the 5th successive season!

It was quite something to watch the whole team rise to the occasion - with excellent games all down the order - to put in a 230+ team performance just when we needed it!

With 9/9 match points so far this season, this result means the Lions cannot now be caught by chasing teams Hackney and Imperial.

This season’s result means that the Lions have now won 5 consecutive league titles, which was last achieved by the legendary Wood Green team in 1984, over 30 years ago!

Congratulations to the whole Lions squad (see below) for a superb achievement yet again, and I hope we can finish off this season in style by winning our remaining matches!
