Hendon Open Rapid Chess
- Held occasionally on an otherwise idle club night – see the calendar for upcoming dates.
- Open to anyone. You don’t have to have a grade or belong to Hendon Chess Club to play.
- All five games will be rated by the English Chess Federation.
- Venue: Golders Green Parish Church Hall, West Heath Drive, Golders Green, London NW11 7QG
- Events start at 7.30pm promptly, finish at 10pm.
- £5.00 to enter, free if you are a member of Hendon Chess Club. Cash only.
- Prizes, if there are any, will be modest, e.g. book prizes.
- 15 minutes per player per game (in other words each game lasts a maximum of 30 minutes)
- If this is too fast for you, try the Golders Green Rapidplays (30 minutes per player per game!)
- The controller’s decision is final in all matters.
