Malcolm Gesthuysen ably stepped into the breach again as I was tied up at work for an event until late in the evening. Nobody felt my absence [sniff].
Our new signing, Ionica (John) Dragomir won the event smoothly, though Kishan tried to convince me that he had him on the ropes! Thanks also to our visitors, especially Eoin Devane who came all the way from Oxford via Bromley and back again.
All the games will be graded by Colin Mackenzie of King’s Head Chess Club.
