Hendon Blitz Tournament - 1st October 2009
The results were as follows;
5/6 Grandmaster Alex Cherniaev, IM Lawrence Trent and Cristian Mures £10 each
Cristian lost to Lawrence, but beat Alex, who in turn beat Lawrence. This was despite being loudly entertained by the Bhangra Dance Class in the large hall next door!

Our event is always open to all, and primarily raises money for the chess club. It is held on the First Thursday of each month – so come along! There is plenty of parking on the street right outside the venue at that time of the evening.
